Jakarta — Political analyst Ujang Komaruddin views President-elect Prabowo Subianto’s strategy of embracing his political opponents as aligning with the people’s aspirations for unity, a move that has clearly resonated with the public.
Ujang’s remarks came after reviewing data from an Indikator survey, which revealed that 73.3% of the public support the formation of the Koalisi Indonesia Maju (KIM) Plus, initiated by Prabowo.
“The formation of KIM itself is seen positively, and this is reflected in the survey where 73.3% of Indonesians agree with the establishment of KIM Plus. This means Prabowo’s political strategy of uniting all components of the nation to build the country is successful,” Ujang stated on Monday (October 7).
He further noted that Prabowo’s leadership, which seeks to bring together diverse political groups, allows various national components, including political parties, to work collectively toward the nation’s goals.
“Prabowo has emerged as a leader capable of bringing together various interests, uniting all elements of the nation, including political parties, to work within the government. This inclusive approach is appreciated by the public,” Ujang added.
It is unsurprising, Ujang said, that 73.3% of respondents in the Indikator survey expressed their approval of Prabowo’s political approach, showing strong public support for his unifying efforts.
“The existence of KIM Plus reflects Prabowo’s political vision of bringing together all the nation’s political forces. When these energies are channeled positively to build the nation, it receives a warm response from the Indonesian public, as evidenced by the fact that over 73% of the people support it,” Ujang explained.
He believes Prabowo’s inclusive political strategy will have a significant impact on his future administration, laying a strong foundation for an effective government that prioritizes the collective interests of the people.
“This approach will be crucial in building a more effective government, one that places the interests of the people at the forefront,” Ujang concluded. (RR)
